yes i just read that pdf on k31..did'nt see anything on moly grease only that a grease is put on complete rifle..its no wonder these rifles are in such no
rust condition. i will try it..

Well that translated manual dates from 1958, at that time they still used the old yellow "Waffenfett" and that was also used to waterproof and
maintain the wooden stock, the newer black Automatenfett won't do well there....
Automatenfett is ok to lube the groove of the bolt sleeve and the flat part of the operating rod, it works great to protect against corrosion (think of the
metal parts hidden inside the stock) and it is the perfect grease to clean the bore.
