If you move the front mount forward against the stop on the mount, nothing is going to move. You don't need loktite for the mount itself at all.
If you drill, file or alter the mount in any way whatsoever you'll void your Warrantee. If you leave the 5/8" offset alone, it will be the same from 25 yards out to 1,000 yards.

If your gunsmith had to do ANY modification of the mount.......... I'd like to see a photo please. If it took any modification of the mount........ you're the first in some 15,000 mounts manufactured since 1998.Your problem lay in the exclusive category of the "wrong rings".
If your rings project beyond the inner edge of the charging port, then you'll need to spread them fore and aft as far as possible. That will allow ejection clearance as in photos 1 & 2..

Ogly Babis?? We don' nee' no Ogly Babis! We don' gots no Ogly Babis!
Nope........ Not at all. You can compress, enlongate, notch, file and shape any Swiss Product you want. You paid for it......... It's yours.
My issue is with a gunsmith that was clueless as to what he was supposed to correct and went to the one thing that needed no altering whatsoever. You need not come back to concede anything.
