Well, he is no bad guy he just let things get out of hand, this is a more recent posting by Ed Hoffer with instructions on how to handle.

" Talked to Layne today. First off as can be seen by recent posts, he is getting orders out, yes they are delayed, but they are getting out. He is also processing refunds for items no longer in stock, with no clear source of replenishing stock for those items in the near future.

In the coming weeks, you can expect a bit more delays; his wife is going in for major serious surgery with a long recovery period. He will still be processing orders just have patience.

Again I have no affiliation with TGP, I'm just trying to represent the interests of the members, that same as I do in the For Sale forum. Now for hopefully some good changes in hoping to resolve these issues. It won't stop the delays, but it will help to allay any fears that your orders didn't get lost in the cracks.

All of us know there will be delays, if you know this, in your mail inquiry, you might as well ask, if the item is stock, and can be sent... great. If it can be obtained in a reasonable amount of time, great. If not request a refund. Don't expect instant gratification, with his wife going to the hospital, it will take a week or two.

I have been "accused" of being an "agent" for TGP, and employee you name, I am not. I haven't received a dang thing from Layne except heartburn from our members. If I get anymore of those types of PM's emails, I'm sorely tempted to take adverse action. One member wouldn't let up and we had to ban him. It wasn't arbitrary 10 inflammatory PM's emails was enough, he was a person who just joined to do attack TGP.

PS By the way, with the chaos he's going through, when he does visit this thread he's just coming here to get information about orders, until his home situation severely changes don't expect a reply. He gets orders from a lot of venues, not just our forum, we just happen to be the only ones that are striving to work with him while his life is upside down. Because his life is in chaos, I limit my calls to him to only when absolutely necessary. Hopefully with the above changes, I can take myself out of the equation, and let him take care of business without interruptions he doesn't need.
