Thanks for the photos! I always liked bayonets. There are, and have always been, some odd ones! I'm sure it was a joke, but I actually saw advertised a
2in. blade pistol bayonet that fits on the bottom mount of some pistols.

I saw that in cheaper than dirt, and it wasn;t a joke, the ad said it fits on the accesory rail of the pistol, I think I'm going to get one just because.
I've always liked knives, and fianlly put the military aspect and the knife thing together. I go ta little carried away tho...

The pistol bayonet takes me back to one of my favorites, an 1830's US Navy pistol/cutlass combination. I suppose the merits of it could be debated, but
it's good for sales, and opens a whole new realm for bayonet collectors!
Hmmm... I could get out the old Nagant revolver, some duct tape, and that really vicious-looking letter opener... Bruce |

The only pig sticker I have came with an old M1917 Enfield. Most modern "plastic and aluminum" rifles will break if you try to use them as a
spear. Facing no more cavalry charges, we don't need to form a square anymore.

I was watching one of those bayos on ebay UK, then that ebay said bayos and military knives were a no-no, and the listing disappeared, it had the scabbard too,
I was waiting to see what it sold for. I like the enfields, that's my other collecting addiction..erm I mean passion, yeah, that's it lol I ordered one
of the pistol bayonets from cheaper than dirt, but they're backordered already, hope it's not a long wait. Looks liek I got my order in just in time,
the site says this is no longer available.
