That all said, are there any plans to do a group swiss target buy, and would it be worth it given we'd have to ship further from some central point in the USA out?

Shipping paper is almost as expensive as shipping bullets, and shipping from overseas is ridiculously expensive for heavy stuff.

Krag, I'm too cheap to go this route. I know we have had discussions before about the target sizes, diameter of the target rings, etc. I believe that there
is enough information here that it would be cheaper to duplicate the targets here in the US, even if you actually had them printed. I'm more in the
"be sure the tension on the string is even and move the magic marker around the circle" class. Even the "camo" target would be doable
especially if you did not need precision on the camo. I think the results would be acceptable to anyone who wanted to buy a few, or to have an unofficial Swiss
match. Of course for an official Swiss match you would have the targets anyway, although I know the official Swiss club in Washington, D.C. has the electronic
targets. Would there be copyright issues involved with copying the official Swiss targets? I don't know, although I don't imagine they would likely
find out or care. I'd be glad to hear (or see) what you come up with.

Here are the dimensions if you want to make them yourself, these targets are huge and meant for 300 meter ranges, not everyone has those around.

we have a 200 meter range at our club, but there's no way I could put up a target that was 5ft6 by 5 ft, our target hangers aren't that big lol wonder
how much smaller it would be for 200 instead.

Well Matt, the best option is for you to find 3 or 4 guys in your area who are interested in having a few targets and order them together and split the costs.
As you mentioned, re-shipment here in the states would add to the already steep investment. However, I doubt printing your own is an option, as they are just
too big. You might be able to do a somewhat reduced version, or a partial print, but that just wouldn't be the same, now would it?

If there is interest in printing targets, let me know the details. I work in the design/printing industry and have a lot of sources around the US. I also get
agency pricing from most companies I work with. If quantities are right, it may be possible to print targets economically. I can always see what I can find.

For those who might be interested, our club just received 30 A10 targets from Kuert-Druck. Targets were 2 CHF apiece for $60 CHF total. Shipping and currency
conversion added another 75 CHF. If I recall correctly, with the conversion rate of 5 or 6 weeks ago, the US dollar amount was $115 for merchandise and
shipping. Yes, it's expensive, but the club has to spend it's funds on something!
