Other than the crack at the back of the action that I need yet to fix the gun is in very very good condition and appears to be all matching. Allowing for the crack I would rate the gun as a stong 90% plus. I have not swabbed out the bore yet but from first appearance it seems to have strong rifling and lots of dust.... The ser # is a 3 digit in the 100's and it is marked PFENNINGER STAEFA (or could be STAFFA).
I would appreciate some idea of the value of this rifle. I have not been able to find anything on the net to speak of and I am not sure that I am going keep it in my collection at this point....
