My K11 has what appears to be a micro adjust under the tear sight for elevation. Is this typical ? Or a later modification.

Firstly, that's not a K11. It's a G11 or a G96/11. Secondly, the fine correctors are not military items, but for target shooting.

Ahhh the plot thickens. However according to the serial number (14xxx), it's a converted 89/00 Short Rifle. Apparently these kept their original setial number after the GP11 upgrade ? Makes sense too. Barrel length is ~ 23 in. Serial dates to 1908 build. It's been very accurate at the range.

oops, my error - the sight only goes up to 1500m? If so, it's a K00/11, sorry for the mistake (thought it went beyond 15)

It's unusual to see sight correctors on a K11, since any serious shooter was shooting a long rifle or a K31. Basically, the K11 was not considered accurate enough! Image Image Image

Hi,

Fine adjusters are rather usual on K11 ou shortened 89/11, 96/11, IG11 that were later changed in small bore, either with a specific barrel or with a conversion kit.

Can You tell us more about the other "mysteries"?
