I was given 8 lbs of IMR 4895 and would like to try
some loads in my K31. Pierre,s load date only shows on combination with this powder, 4895..44gr Berger VLD168gr. I have searched the
reloading threads and have not seen anyone using 4895. So my question is...........Has anyone tried 4895 with any success?

Oh, and i do plan to reload my GP11 brass as my stash of berdan primers is still healthy.

Thanks

cleech,

I've used IMR 4895 for years in my K31's.....43.8gr,Federal 210 Match primers,Nosler 165Balistic Tip or Sierra 168 Match bullets.Both seated .010 of
the rifling.I use Norma,FNM or NNY brass with deburred flash holes and uniformed primer pockets. My scoped rifles will put 10 in 1.5 inches at 100yds and 10 on
2.5 inches at 200 yds if I do my part.I have yet to find a military rifle that IMR 4895 WON"T work in.Some are great shooters and all are good...

Thanks for the load data. I was hoping I could here some hand experience, i.e their loads and what kind of accuracy they were getting. Seems like the powder
of choice is 4350 with some others listed in the forum. I really just would like to know if I can get an accurate load using 4895. Looks like the difference
between the two is small with the 4350 burning a bit slower.

Thanks again
