Here's some additional info about this match:

As this is an actual "shoot-for-high-score" match, it will only be shot ONCE - no 2nd chances! The course of fire is 24 rounds total, with two strings of up to six sighters (one at 300m and one at 100 m), so the most ammunition you will need is 36 rounds. The sighters at 100m may be fired prone or sitting, but the record string is fired standing. We have Swiss chargers available for loaners if you don't have your...

This will be our last Swiss Rifle match at Mill Creek Rifle Club this year, so if you haven't been able to make any of the previous matches, this is your last chance! Same start time as previous. This will be the last chance on the Feldstich and SSV for those who have not made it to any of our earlier matches. ALSO, several of us will be shooting the SRDC Postal Match on this date. If you have enrolled for any of the classes in the postal match, come on out and shoot it with us!

This match will be the same format as the last one, Feldstich and SSV. Same time, same place. We had two more medal winners last time out, including a first-time shooter who scored his medal with the K31 issue sights on the first attempt! Who says you need a diopter? (Well, it sure helps, anyway ).

This Saturday we will be offering TWO matches for Swiss Rifle shooters. We will again be shooting the "Feldstich" match on the cammo targets for those who missed the first match, or failed to medal on the first go-round, and also shooting the SSV or "Federal" match on the bull's eye targets. These are both medal matches. Set-up at 7:30 AM, and shooting as soon as the light is good enough (8:30-9:00). Come on out to Mill Crek Rifle Club and join the fun - last time...

The first Swiss rifle match at Mill Creek Rifle Club will be this Saturday, April 25th. Set-up will begin around 07:30 on the High Power range; we'll start shooting when the light gets good enough. We'll be shooting the "Feldstich", which is a new match for this year. This match replaces the "Feldschloesschenstich" which was discontinued by the sponsor. April 25th we will be shooting the Feldschlosschen at the Mill Creek Rifle Club.
We will be using the B4 Swiss target at 300m.
We had a great time at our matches last year!!

We have Swiss Rifle matches scheduled at Mill Creek Rifle Club this year on the following dates:
