I've got some GP11 brass here I'm going to reload. The interesting thing is that it's got a two stamped at the 4:00-5:00 position (between the year and the assembly plant code). Does this designate a factory reload?

Did Fiocchi made the last lot of 7.5 Swiss revolver ?...

I note the description of some of the GP11 out there has "steel" bullets or "steel" cases.

I'm embarassed to admit it but I pamper my good rifles rather daintily, and don't do steel cases in them. To me that's for an AK47 or SKS blasting away at the town dump, not serious shooting.

Is there any all brass and lead GP11, or are these typos in the ads?

To me the ideal would be boxer primed GP11.

I'm looking to get some...

There was an announcement from the Swiss shooting association that due to scarcity they were not able to issue this 7,65 Parabellum ammunition for the Luger pistols at a major shooting match, participants with 06 Luger pistols or P49's in the same caliber were asked to bring their own ammo, see...

A new book, Messerschmitt Me 109 in Swiss Air Force Service (2008), reports that during WW2 and as late as 1949, repetitive loading, unloading, and cleaning of belted GP11 cartridges in Swiss fighter aircraft damaged the wax seal on the cartridges, as well as the seal on the primers, allowing moisture to penetrate the cartridge. This could cause a delay when firing. This particularly affected the synchronized fuselage guns that fired through the propeller. The problem was...

Can someone point me in the direction of a table that shows GP11 drop through a given range of KD?

Hello,

I'm trying to find 7.5 swiss ammo. I'm in the Toronto area of Ontario. I can find plenty of ammo online, but only to be sold in the USA.

Does anyone know of an easy way to find this ammo around here? I know it's possible to go the Norma route but if it's possible I'd like to save my money and time waiting.

Any help is appreciated.

I just add this Very nice display board to my collection,the cases were made by the Schweizerische Metallwerke Selve & Co at Thun (Switserland) and the production to complete the cartridge by the factory at Altdorf

In 1921/1922 the Dutch army order a lot of 6,5 Mannlicher cartridges in Switserland
