			<description><![CDATA[ Somebody showed me such a modified carbine with a serial higher as the highest serial  #26335 in the books and I think I found the answer to that. The books do
list the modified carbines with year, number modified and serials and that serial listing is not correct, the guns were not modified on serial sequence
(that&#39;s impossible to do) but were modified in mixed serial batches. The numbers listed for each year are probably correct but the author made the mistake

Now a member of our lokal shooting club who deals professionally with high quality steel alloys made a spectrum analysis of the receiver and the Hmmerli barrel. <br><br>The serial-number of the rifle was 922653.
