So this isn't the first time I've seen this happening, but I noticed on ebay that the Stgw 57 leather pouches are going for REALLY high prices. What gives? These things were $9.99 not to long ago. Any ideas behind the phenomenon?

How did the Swiss backpack and breadbag evolve in the 20th century?

I'd like to see a lineup of the various models of the Swiss backpack, side by side, along with the proper nomenclature for each (M-1915, M-1944, etc.). Same for the breadbag. Early to late.

I was able to pick up some very interesting WW2 items for my collection, but the prizes are a very nice set of leather gamaschen for bicycle troops dated 1940. I was also able to secure a hard to find overcoat bag for the bicycle. The only ones I have ever seen were in wartime photos, or the replicas coming out of Germany.
