Did some basic testing with 9 grains of Trail Boss powder in my Swiss K31. The bullets shoot the right of POA about 3 inches. Groups are good, had a flyer on
each target. Not sure if that is a powder issue, a bullet issue, lube issue, etc.

Anyway, this was by best of 2 targets. At 50 yards its a good plinker and that is what I am looking for. Will probably setup one K31 for use with Trail Boss
only. If I get better results on my next range visit, I will see what... ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ A question on determining seating depth ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ <p><font size="2">I have tried Pierre St. Marie&#39;s method of determining the bullet seating depth that suits my K31 rifle. That is, seat a bullet close to
the expected depth ( in a sized, trimmed and unprimed case). Then chamber the round in the rifle, then remove the round. Measure the OAL and deduct 0.002 to
0.004 inches to arrive at a seating depth for that bullet in that rifle.

and the powder in 6.5x55 watching my pressures and working up to 2582fps which is where the peep sighted rifle I am using seems to have its best accuracy and

			<description><![CDATA[ I have a k11 and now a k31.  The dies I have are RCBS.  Somewhere I read that there is a slight difference in the two rifles&#39; chambers and the Redding was

the k31 that we learned about from this forum.

Fast forward to yesterday.  We tried loading up a bunch of rounds again for his k31.  We only did about 5 of them because we were having so many problems.  In

case/headspace gages for the 7.5- (the K31 dimension set, not the 1911, etc.). These would be made to Wilson&#39;s usual high standard, or better.
